LSS Department Klaipeda Region Department of Medicine

Main directions of activities carried out by members of the Department:

• investigation of autonomic heart rate control and hemodynamics during functional tests and night sleep of healthy subjects and coronary artery disease patients;
• computerisation of cardiovascular testing;
• investigation of psychoemotional status, sleep disturbances and cardiovascular pathology;
• assessment of impact of weather conditions on cardiovascular system and complications;
• of prognosis of death probability in stroke and cardiac patients;
• elaboration of long-term rehabilitation and secondary prevention programmes in cardiac patients and patients after coronary graft bypass surgery, evaluation of efficiency of the programmes.
